Grants for companies — when you can actually get one

A grant is non-repayable and tempting — but today it's owed only to narrow profiles: research and development, innovation, digitalization, export, and startups. Not everyday investments. If you qualify, we'll help you get it. If not, we'll say so plainly and point you to a cheaper, safer path.

What it is and who it's for

A grant is non-repayable co-financing from European funds, awarded through a competition. Its flip side: you don't pay the money back, but you have to beat other applications, and calls are rare and narrowly profiled.

Today, companies that genuinely reach for it are the ones doing research and development, implementing innovations, digitalizing processes, entering foreign markets, or just launching a breakthrough idea.

What grants are realistically for today

  • Research and development (R&D) — developing a new product or technology
  • Innovation — implementing solutions that are new at least on a national scale
  • Digitalization — digital transformation and robotization of SMEs
  • Export — brand promotion, trade fairs, economic missions
  • Startups — incubating breakthrough ideas, including deep tech

You'll find the specific, currently open calls — with deadlines and status — on the Open programs page (in Polish). Statuses change every quarter; we track them for you.

What it looks like with us

  1. Eligibility diagnosis — we check whether your project genuinely fits open calls. We tell you plainly before you waste time on an application with no chance.
  2. Application preparation — if it's worth applying, we build the application, the substantive part, and the financial model to fit that call's criteria.
  3. Through to the decision — we answer the committee's questions and track deadlines through to the result.

And if you're not owed a grant?

We'll say so plainly — we don't make money by talking you into competitions you'll lose. Usually the better path turns out to be a cheap development loan (from 2%, year-round, no ranking). And when your profile allows it, we combine one with the other — that's the hybrid model, our specialty.

Frequently asked questions

Will my company get a grant?+

Today, grants mostly go to R&D, innovation, digitalization, export, and startups — not everyday investments. We check this specifically on a free diagnosis and tell you plainly.

Grant or loan — which pays off more?+

It depends on the project. A grant is non-repayable, but narrow and competition-based. A loan is cheap and available year-round. Sometimes the best option is one tied to the other.

How long do I have to wait for a grant?+

Calls are periodic and rare, and a decision takes months. If you need financing faster, a loan is usually the better option.

Can a grant be combined with a loan?+

Yes — in the hybrid model, while respecting public-aid and de minimis limits. It's hard to structure, which is exactly why we do it.

We'll check whether you realistically qualify for a grant, or whether a loan will work better.
